| AN ACT concerning finance.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The State Finance Act is amended by adding |
| 5 |
| Section 8.16d as follows:
|

| (30 ILCS 105/8.16d new) |

| Sec. 8.16d. Medicaid Fund Receipt Account. The Medicaid |
| 8 |
| Fund Receipt Account is created as an account within the |
| 9 |
| General Revenue Fund. The receipt of all federal Medicaid |
| 10 |
| reimbursement funds must be recorded as an entry in this |
| 11 |
| account. All such receipts must be expended solely for the |
| 12 |
| purposes for which they were received and may not be expended |
| 13 |
| or diverted for any other purpose.
