    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1835 as follows:

on page 1, line 11, by replacing "Tethering. "Tethering" means"

with "Tethering of a dog. "Tethering of a dog" means"; and

on page 1, lines 11 and 12, by replacing "an animal" with "a

dog"; and

on page 1, line 13, by replacing "animal" with "dog"; and

on page 1, line 17, by inserting "companion" immediately after

"his"; and

on page 2, by replacing lines 3 and 4 with "companion animals
