AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1466

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1466, AS AMENDED,

with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 
4
3, by replacing lines 3 through 25 on page 27 with the 
5
following:

"committee or political action committee.   During each election 
7
cycle, a candidate political committee may not accept 
8
contributions from  political party committees with an 
9
aggregate value over the following: (i) $200,000 for a 
10
candidate political committee established to support a 
11
candidate seeking nomination or election to statewide office, 
12
(ii) $125,000 for a candidate political committee established 
13
to support a candidate seeking nomination or election to the 
14
Senate, the Supreme Court or Appellate Court in the First 
15
Judicial District, or an  office elected by all voters in a 
16
county with 1,000,000 or more residents, (iii) $75,000 for a 
17
candidate political committee established to support a

candidate seeking nomination or election to the House of

Representatives, the Supreme Court or Appellate Court for a

Judicial District other than the First Judicial District, an

office elected by all voters of a county of fewer than

County other than those elected by all voters of Cook County, 
7
and (iv) $50,000 for a candidate political committee 
8
established to support the nomination or election of a 
9
candidate".
