| AN ACT concerning courts.
|
| 2 |
| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Attorney Act is amended by changing Section |
| 5 |
| 4 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (705 ILCS 205/4) (from Ch. 13, par. 4)

| Sec. 4.
Every person admitted to practice as an attorney |
| 8 |
| and
and counsellor at
law shall, before his name is entered |
| 9 |
| upon the roll to be kept as
hereinafter provided, take and |
| 10 |
| subscribe an oath, substantially in the
following form: |
| 11 |
| I do solemnly swear (or affirm, as the case may be), that I |
| 12 |
| will support
the constitution of the United States and the |
| 13 |
| constitution of the state of
Illinois, and that I will |
| 14 |
| faithfully discharge the duties of the office of
attorney and |
| 15 |
| counselor at law to the best of my ability.
