    AN ACT concerning State government.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
3
represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Secretary of State Act is amended by 
5
changing Section 3 as follows:

    Sec. 3. 
All public acts, laws and
and resolutions passed by 
8
the General
Assembly of this state, shall be carefully 
9
deposited in the office of the
Secretary of State, and the 
10
Secretary of State is charged with the safety
of said office, 
11
and all laws, acts, resolutions, bonds, papers and records

12
which now are or shall hereafter be deposited therein.
