HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the 
4St. Michael of Orland Park varsity football team on the 
5occasion of winning the Southside Catholic Conference varsity 
6football championship; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, After a hard-fought game, the St. Michael varsity 
8football team defeated St. John Fisher of Chicago 28-24 at the 
9Pat Cronin Field at St. Rita High School on November 13, 2010 
10to claim victory at the Southside Catholic Conference varsity 
11football championship; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, The St. Michael varsity football team's victory 
13marks the second straight championship victory for the school; 
14and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, The members of the St. Michael varsity football 
16team are Jack Hart, Matt Diehl, Steve Carroll, Brian Wood, 
17Kevin Lipuma, Erik Mudd, Anthony Arunno, Alex Nemeh, Brendan 
18Cooke, Sean McElligott, Eddie Machala, Michael McGugan, Danny 
19McDonald, Justin Bell, James Krejci, Ben Bernecker, Kyle Burke, 
20Connor Mallon, Louis DePasquale, Zachary Crean-Brandis, Sean 
21Diehl, Joe Norwell, Colin McGovern, Jacob Gobeille, Kyle 
22Gambla, John Carmody, Dan Guajardo, Casey Hennessy, Matt Davis,

5    WHEREAS, The members of the St. Michael varsity football 
6team serve as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication 
7for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it
  
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
9NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
10congratulate the members of the St. Michael of Orland Park 
11varsity football team on their victory and wish them continued 
12success and happiness in the future; and be it further
  
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
14presented to St. Michael head coach Bob Craig as a symbol of 
15our esteem and respect.
