| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Mary Alice D'Arcy | ||||||
| 4 | on her retirement as the President and Chief Executive Officer | ||||||
| 5 | of Easter Seals of DuPage County and the Fox Valley Region; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, She has served as the President and Chief | ||||||
| 7 | Executive Officer of Easter Seals of DuPage County and the Fox | ||||||
| 8 | Valley Region from November of 1995; she was the
Manager of | ||||||
| 9 | Family Support Services from March 1995 to November 1995; the | ||||||
| 10 | Director of Ancillary Services from 1990 to March 1995; the
| ||||||
| 11 | Program Director from 1983 to 1990; and the
Director of Social | ||||||
| 12 | Services from 1981 to 1983; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Previously she served as the Executive Director of | ||||||
| 14 | Marian Park, Inc.
and the Marian Park Living Learning | ||||||
| 15 | Corporation; she served as the
Wheaton School District 200 | ||||||
| 16 | Social Worker; and worked with
Denver Catholic Charities as a
| ||||||
| 17 | Case Worker in the Foster Home Department; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Her educational achievements include Credential | ||||||
| 19 | Specialist, Early Intervention Supervisor and Family Support
| ||||||
| 20 | Specialist with the State of Illinois; a Master's degree in | ||||||
| 21 | Social Work from Loyola University; and a Bachelor of Arts | ||||||
| 22 | degree in Sociology from Marillac College; and
| ||||||

| |||||||
| 1 | WHEREAS, She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the | ||||||
| 2 | State of Illinois; a former Licensed Social Worker with the | ||||||
| 3 | State of Illinois from 1970 to 1992; a Certified School Social | ||||||
| 4 | Worker with the State of Illinois; she holds a Certificate in | ||||||
| 5 | Family & Senior Citizen Housing Management/National Center for
| ||||||
| 6 | Housing Management in Washington, D.C; she has professional | ||||||
| 7 | affiliations with the
National Association of Social Workers | ||||||
| 8 | and the Illinois Association of Social Workers; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, She received the Myrtle M. and Tom B. Medders | ||||||
| 10 | Award for Management Excellence in April 2003; and the | ||||||
| 11 | Outstanding President and CEO of all Easter Seals affiliates | ||||||
| 12 | nationwide in 2003; under her direction the Easter Seals DuPage | ||||||
| 13 | and the Fox Valley Region
was awarded the highest possible | ||||||
| 14 | accreditation for outpatient rehabilitation from
the | ||||||
| 15 | Commission for Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities | ||||||
| 16 | (CARF) in 2007 and
2010; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 17 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 18 | NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 19 | congratulate Mary Alice D'Arcy on her retirement and wish her | ||||||
| 20 | well in her future endeavors; and be it further
| ||||||
| 21 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 22 | presented to Mary Alice D'Arcy as a symbol of our respect and | ||||||
