HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Westmont Police 
4Department Deputy Chief of Police Randy King on his retirement; 
5and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Randy King is a graduate of the Chicago Police 
7Academy Basic Law Enforcement training, Northwestern 
8University's Center for Public Safety School of Staff and 
9Command, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Midwest Law 
10Enforcement Executive Development Seminar; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, He obtained his Bachelors and Masters of Science 
12degrees from Lewis University; he is a member of the National 
13Scholastic Honor Society; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, He served as President of the Fraternal Order of 
15Police Westmont Lodge #63; and
  
 
  
16    WHEREAS, In addition to his duties as a police officer, he 
17also supplied care packages for troops overseas as part of 
18Operation Support Our Troops; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
20NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

1congratulate Deputy Chief Randy King on his retirement and 
2thank him for his years of service to the people of Westmont; 
3and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
