HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the 
4
Carmi-White County Lady Bullpups on the occasion of the team's 
5
victory at the Southern Illinois Junior High School Athletic 
6
Association Class L State championship game; and
  
 
7
    WHEREAS, The Carmi-White County Lady Bullpups won the Class 
8
L State championship game in a 3-0 shutout win over Herrin, 
9
finishing their season with a school-record 26 wins and 2 
10
losses; and
  
 
11
    WHEREAS, The Lady Bullpups played tremendously during the 
12
championship game; Bailey Winters struck out 10 batters during 
13
the game, while walking only one batter and surrendering only 3 
14
hits; the team's defense played errorless ball during the game 
15
and the team's offense had 8 hits against Herrin; Alexa Combs 
16
and Kelsey Rogers each had a double and a single; and

    WHEREAS, The members of the Lady Bullpups are Bryce Conner, 
18
Alena Miller, Mackenzie Armstrong, Kaley Lucas, Briley Tolley, 
19
Kelsey Rogers, Briley Attebury, Jerrica Money, Bailey Winters, 
20
Emilie Turrentine, Hunter Colman, Alexis Conner, Claire 
21
Blankenberger, Jessica Woods, Alexa Combs, Paige Winter, 
22
Peighton Parks, Cammie Francis, and Sidney French; the team's

assistant coaches are Cindy Colman and Morganne Rogers, and the

team's head coach is Scott Conner; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
5
congratulate the members of the Carmi-White County Lady 
6
Bullpups on the occasion of the team's victory and wish them 
7
continued success and happiness in the future; and be it 
8

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

presented to Lady Bullpups head coach Scott Conner as a symbol

of our esteem and respect.
