HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Lyons Township 
4
High School boys soccer team on winning the Class 3A State 
5
Championship; and
  
 
6
    WHEREAS, Lyons Township won in the first overtime period, 
7
giving themselves the victory over Lake Zurich in the game held 
8
at North Central College in Naperville; and
  
 
9
    WHEREAS, This was the sixth State tournament appearance for 
10
Lyons Township and their best finish, beating the previous best 
11
of fourth place in 1972; and
  
 
12
    WHEREAS, Lyons Township ended the season with a 15 game 
13
winning streak; and
  
 
14
    WHEREAS, The Head Coach is Paul Labbato and the Assistant 
15
Coach is Kelly Neidig; and
  
 
16
    WHEREAS, The members of the team are Andrew Aviles, Kevin 
17
Beglen, Elliot Borge, Jack Bowton, Uriel Cabrera, Alex 
18
Economou, Hamdija Fejzic, Sully Fox, Peter Gabrek, Hector 
19
Godinez, Brian Heimerdinger, Peter Kralovec-Kirchherr, Kyle 
20
Kurfirst, Billy McGuinness, Chris Meingast, Danny Pacie, Zach

    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

congratulate the Lyons Township High School boys soccer team

and wish them continued success in the future; and be it

presented to Coach Paul Labbato as a symbol of our respect and
