| AN ACT concerning local government.
|
| 2 |
| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Park District Code is amended by changing |
| 5 |
| Section 9-2 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (70 ILCS 1205/9-2) (from Ch. 105, par. 9-2)

| Sec. 9-2.
Every park district is authorized to acquire by |
| 8 |
| purchase or
condemnation under power of eminent domain, or |
| 9 |
| lease, real estate, in
whole or in part, either within or |
| 10 |
| without the
the corporate limits of said
park district for the |
| 11 |
| purpose of establishing or expanding for said district an
|
| 12 |
| airport and landing field for aircraft, and to provide hangars, |
| 13 |
| shops,
and other necessary equipment and appurtenances |
| 14 |
| therefor usually
incident to the operation of an airport, and |
| 15 |
| to maintain and operate the
same. |
