Amends the School Code.  Makes a technical change in a Section concerning
the School Code's construction.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The State Finance Act is amended  by changing 
5
Section 1.1 as follows:

    Sec. 1.1. 
This Act shall be known and and may be cited as

the "State Finance
Act".

 The provisions of this Act, so far

as they are the same as those of any
prior statute, shall be

construed as a continuation of
such prior
provisions, and not

as a new enactment.

    If in any other statute reference is made to an Act of the

the General
Assembly, or a section of such an Act, which is 
13
continued in this School
Code, such reference shall be held to 
14
refer to the Act or section thereof
so continued in this Code.
