| AN ACT concerning regulation.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Naprapathic Practice Act is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 33 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (225 ILCS 63/33)
|
| 7 |
| (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2013)
|

| Sec. 33. Records of examinations and treatments. Every
|
| 9 |
| licensed naprapath
shall keep a record of naprapathic |
| 10 |
| examinations and
and treatments made that shall
include the |
| 11 |
| names of persons examined and treated. The record shall be |
| 12 |
| signed
by the licensed naprapath and retained by him or her in |
| 13 |
| the office in which the
professional service was rendered. The |
| 14 |
| records shall be preserved by the
naprapath for a period of 3 |
| 15 |
| years from the date on which the professional
service was |
| 16 |
| rendered. A copy of the records shall be provided, upon written
|
| 17 |
| request, to the person examined and treated or his or her |
| 18 |
| designee. |
