    AN ACT concerning finance.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Accountability for the Investment of Public 
5
Funds Act is amended by changing Section 5 as follows:

    Sec. 5. Definitions. As used in this Act:

    "Public funds" means current operating funds, special 
9
funds, interest and
and
sinking
funds, and funds of any kind or 
10
character belonging to or in the custody of any
State
agency.

    "State agency" means those entities included in the 
12
definition of "State
agencies"
in the Illinois State Auditing 
13
Act.
