| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Mary C. Churnovic (nee Chiarmonte) of |
| 4 |
| Joliet, who passed away on October 8, 2008; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her son, Sam; her |
| 6 |
| parents, Salvatore and Vincenza Chiarmonte; and her sisters, |
| 7 |
| Rose and Jodi; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, |
| 9 |
| Robert L. Churnovic Sr.; her children, Rob (Vicki), Gary, and |
| 10 |
| Mayor Nick Churnovic; her grandchildren, Lori, Matthew, and |
| 11 |
| Timothy; her sisters Dorothy, Ann, Jenny, and Sally; and |
| 12 |
| numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL |
| 14 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 15 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Mary C. Churnovic; and |
| 16 |
| be it further
|
| 17 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 18 |
| presented to the family of Mary C. Churnovic as a symbol of our |
| 19 |
| sincere sympathy.
