| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of
John M. Dorgan; and
|

| WHEREAS, John M. Dorgan was a retired supervisor and 37 |
| 5 |
| year employee of the Western Electric Hawthorne Works; he was a |
| 6 |
| member of the Telephone Pioneers of America; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, John M. Dorgan was the beloved husband of the late |
| 8 |
| Ellen A., nee O'Reilly; the loving father of Denis M., Thomas |
| 9 |
| D. (Kathleen), Deidre E. (Thomas) Collins, Marigrace (James) |
| 10 |
| Clark, and John M. "Jack" (Kristin); the dearest grandfather of |
| 11 |
| Sean, Erin, Meaghan, John, Kevin, Sheila, Maura, Kayla Ellen, |
| 12 |
| Grace, and Elizabeth; the son of the late Michael and Lucy, nee |
| 13 |
| Norris; the loving brother of the late Grace (the late Pat) |
| 14 |
| Roche; the brother-in-law of Elizabeth (Donald P.) Devine and |
| 15 |
| the late Charles, (the late Mary T.) O'Reilly; and the dear |
| 16 |
| uncle of the Roche and O'Reilly families; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, John M. Dorgan's love of life and ability to live |
| 18 |
| it to the fullest endeared him to his family members, friends, |
| 19 |
| and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in |
| 20 |
| ways they will never forget; therefore, be it
