SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Gary H. Swanson of Waukegan, who passed 
4
away on July 4, 2008; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Gary H. Swanson was a lifelong resident of 
6
Waukegan; and

 
7
    WHEREAS, Gary H. Swanson served with pride and distinction 
8
as a member of the United States Air Force; and

 
9
    WHEREAS, Gary H. Swanson was employed as a concrete worker 
10
for many years; and

 
11
    WHEREAS, Gary H. Swanson was the beloved son of Bertha 
12
Swanson and the late Elmer Swanson; and the fond brother of 
13
Richard Swanson, Sandra Deaton, and Linda Sczesny; he also 
14
cherished his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, 
15
great-nephews, cousins, and numerous friends; therefore, be it

 
16
    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 
17
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
18
his family and friends, the passing of Gary H. Swanson; and be 
19
it further
