SENATE RESOLUTION


 
2
    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3
learn of the death of Donald Lee Grubor of Lewistown, who 
4
passed away on March 22, 2008; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Donald Lee Grubor was born January 12, 1966, in 
6
Canton, the son of Donald N. and Leta (Easley) Grubor; he 
7
married Mary Lou Hadsall on Dec. 31, 2001, in Lewistown; and

 
8
    WHEREAS, He was employed as a field service technician for 
9
Altorfer of Clinton; he also had worked for Helena Chemical, 
10
Lewistown AG, and owned and operated Grubor Welding for several 
11
years; and

 
12
    WHEREAS, He was the deputy fire chief of Lewistown Fire and 
13
Rescue, where he had been a dedicated fireman for 21 years; he 
14
retired from racing late model race cars in 2001; and he was a 
15
member of the Lewistown United Methodist Church; and

 
16
    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, 
17
Dorothy Hadsall; and

 
18
    WHEREAS, Donald Lee Grubor is survived by his wife, Mary 
19
Lou; his parents; his daughter, Candy Howerter; his sister, 
20
Donna J. (Leon) Bowling; his grandchildren, Kierstin and

Stephanie Hadsall and Coltin Howerter; his nieces and nephews, 
2
including Kenna Robinson, Kevin Williams, and Nick Williams; 
3
his great-nephew, Hunter Woodruff; his father-in-law, Donald

Hadsall; and his brother-in-law, Steven (Debra) Hadsall; 
5
therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 
7
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
8
his family and friends, the passing of Donald Lee Grubor; and 
9
be it further

 
10
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11
presented to the family of Donald Lee Grubor as a symbol of our 
12
sincere sympathy.
