| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of
Joseph Pasinato, who passed away on |
| 4 |
| February 23, 2008; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Joseph Pasinato was a veteran of World War II, |
| 6 |
| where he served with bravery and distinction; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, After serving his country, Joseph Pasinato worked |
| 8 |
| as a furniture manufacturer's representative for over 60 years; |
| 9 |
| in honor of his work, he was named a "Pillar of the Community" |
| 10 |
| by the furniture manufacturing industry and his peers; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Joseph Pasinato was an active member of the |
| 12 |
| International Order of Alhambra for over 30 years, working with |
| 13 |
| the Alhambra Santiago Caravan #169; he was actively involved |
| 14 |
| with the Knights of Columbus as a 4th Degree Knight, where he |
| 15 |
| devoted himself to working with people with developmental |
| 16 |
| disabilities; he was also active with the Boys and Girls Club |
| 17 |
| of West Suburban Cook County and the Father Ryan Counsel 5025; |
| 18 |
| and
|
| 19 |
| WHEREAS, Joseph Pasinato was the dearly beloved husband of |
| 20 |
| Mary, nee Grossi; the loving father of Marita Jo (James) Estey |
| 21 |
| and Jonathon; the dearest grandfather of Timothy (Asta) Elenz, |
