SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate were deeply 
3
saddened to learn of the death of Robert Tuttle on January 24, 
4
2008; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Robert Tuttle was born on July 28, 1926; and

 
6
    WHEREAS, Robert Tuttle served in the Army Air Corps and the 
7
Air Force, serving in both World War II and the Korean War; and

 
8
    WHEREAS, Robert Tuttle was a career long insurance agent 
9
for John Hancock Insurance; and

 
10
    WHEREAS, Robert Tuttle was an active volunteer for many 
11
community organizations in both St. Charles and Lenoir City, 
12
Tennessee; and
 
13
    WHEREAS, Robert Tuttle loved traveling and loved life; and
 
14
    WHEREAS, Robert Tuttle was a devoted husband to his wife, 
15
Lois; and
 
16
    WHEREAS, Robert Tuttle was the proud father of Elizabeth 
17
Heyob (James), Richard (Mary), Scott (Barbara) and Christopher 
18
(Becky) and grandfather to Alex, Lauren, Kelsey, Darcy and

    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 
3
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
4
his family and friends, the passing of Robert Tuttle; and be it 
5
further

 
6
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7
presented to the family of Robert Tuttle as an expression of 
8
our sympathy.
