SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Richard Alford Bury of Gurnee, who passed 
4
away on July 5, 2007; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Richard Alford Bury was born on August 20, 1929 in 
6
Waukegan; his parents were John and Beatrice Bury; and

 
7
    WHEREAS, Richard Alford Bury worked for Fansteel 
8
Metalurgicals of North Chicago for 40 years until his 
9
retirement in 1986; and

 
10
    WHEREAS, Richard Alford Bury was preceded in death by his 
11
parents, John and Beatrice, and his brothers, Earl and Warren; 
12
and


 
13
    WHEREAS, Richard Alford Bury is survived by his loving wife 
14
of 49 years, Mary Ann Bury, nee Barker; his children, Roger H. 
15
Bury, James (Carrie) Bury, and Deborah (Tate) Kopp; and his 
16
grandchildren, Jacquelyn Kopp, Kirstin Kopp, Alexis Bury, and 
17
Emily Bury; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 
19
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
20
his family and friends, the passing of Richard Alford Bury; and
