| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of
Sally Boynton of Aurora, who passed away |
| 4 |
| on July 9, 2007; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Sally Boynton was born on March 30, 1951 at Copley |
| 6 |
| Memorial Hospital; she was the daughter of Lyle E. and Evelyn |
| 7 |
| M. Oncken; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Sally Boynton graduated from West Aurora High |
| 9 |
| School in 1969; she earned her bachelor's degree in education |
| 10 |
| from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1973 and her |
| 11 |
| master's degree from Aurora University in 1992; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Sally Boynton served as the chairperson of the |
| 13 |
| English department at West Aurora High School for 25 years; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Sally Boynton is survived by her husband, Thomas |
| 15 |
| E. Boynton; her sons, Alex John Boynton, Thomas Jason Boynton, |
| 16 |
| and Fermi; her parents, Lyle and Evelyn; her brother, Lee (Jan) |
| 17 |
| Oncken; and her sister, Jan (Steve Hartman) Oncken; and
|
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, Sally Boynton will be remembered by all who knew |
| 19 |
| and loved her to be a kind and caring person whose love to |
| 20 |
| educate and be educated was evident to all; therefore, be it
|
