SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Donald M. Wojciechowski of Waukegan, who 
4
passed away on August 26, 2007; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Donald Wojciechowski was born in Chicago on 
6
January 26, 1947; his parents were Ervin and Alice 
7
Wojciechowski; and

 
8
    WHEREAS, Donald Wojciechowski was a member of the Waukegan 
9
Fire Department from 1973 to 1993, serving as a lieutenant, 
10
public education officer, and firefighter; and

 
11
    WHEREAS, Donald Wojciechowski hosted the morning and 
12
midday radio shows on WKRS for several years; he was a skills 
13
instructor for the North Lake County EMS System; he was a 
14
volunteer at Lake Forest Hospital; and he was a member of the 
15
Warren High School Class of '65 Reunion Committee; and

 
16
    WHEREAS, Donald Wojciechowski was preceded in death by his 
17
parents, Ervin and Alice; and his niece, Alicia Wojciechowski; 
18
and

 
19
    WHEREAS, Donald Wojciechowski is survived by his wife, 
20
Rosemarie; his brother, Alan (Karen) Wojciechowski; his

sisters, Linda (Bill) Musak and Joan (Mark) Hammel; his 
2
nephews, Jeffery, Justin, Michael, and Tony; and his nieces, 
3
Laurie, Lynn, Lisa, Joy, Erin, Emily, and Taylor; therefore, be 
4
it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 
6
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
7
his family and friends, the passing of Donald Wojciechowski; 
8
and be it further

 
9
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10
presented to the family of Donald Wojciechowski as an 
11
expression of our sympathy.
