SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Rhonda Jean Jones of Marion, who passed 
4
away on June 18, 2007; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Rhonda Jean Jones was born August 7, 1958, in East 
6
St. Louis; her parents were Arthur and Berniece (Mizell) 
7
Tucker; she married George Jones in September 1976 in Marion; 
8
and

 
9
    WHEREAS, Rhonda Jean Jones was a 1976 graduate of Johnston 
10
City High School; she was a homemaker; she enjoyed gardening 
11
and antiques; and

 
12
    WHEREAS, Rhonda Jean Jones was preceded in death by her 
13
brother, Ricky Tucker; and her mother-in-law, Phyllis Jones; 
14
and

 

15
    WHEREAS, Rhonda Jean Jones was survived by her husband; her 
16
son, Damon Jones; her grandchildren, Abby and Alex; her 
17
parents; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Rita and David Sloan, 
18
Ruth Ann McDonald, and Rachel and Darren Sneed; her brother, 
19
Randy Tucker; her father-in-law and his wife, George and Mary 
20
Jones; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Debbie and Toby 
21
Coleman; her sister-in-law, Tonya Jones and Jim Crabb; her

brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Baraka and Pattie Jones; and 
2
many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 
4
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
5
her family and friends, the passing of Rhonda Jean Jones; and 
6
be it further

 
7
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8
presented to the family of Rhonda Jean Jones as an expression 
9
of our sympathy.
