SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Holly Graham of Zion, who passed away on 
4
May 20, 2007; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Holly Graham was born on August 7, 1987 in 
6
Waukegan; her parents were Sandra Whitmore and Willie Graham; 
7
and

 
8
    WHEREAS, Holly Graham was a 2005 graduate of Zion-Benton 
9
High School, where she ran track and was the 2004 homecoming 
10
queen; she graduated from the College of Lake County with an 
11
Associate of Arts degree in May 2007; she planned to attend 
12
college at Tennessee State University in the fall, where she 
13
had aspirations of studying criminal justice and maybe becoming 
14
a lawyer; and

 
15
    WHEREAS, Holly Graham worked at L'eggs Hanes Bali Playtex 
16
in Gurnee Mills while she attended classes full time; and

 
17
    WHEREAS, Holly Graham was known by all who knew and loved 
18
her as a very likable person with a contagious personality and 
19
an unforgettable smile; and

 
20
    WHEREAS, Holly Graham is survived by her parents, Sandra

Whitmore and Willie Graham; and other relatives and friends; 
2
therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 
4
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
5
her family and friends, the passing of Holly Graham; and be it 
6
further

 
7
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8
presented to the family of Holly Graham as an expression of our 
9
sympathy.
