SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Ashton R. Frieders of rural Marseilles, who passed away on January 27, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Ashton R. Frieders was born December 12, 1987 in Aurora to Charles and Lori (nee Scents) Frieders; and

WHEREAS, Ashton Frieders graduated from Serena High School and was attending Joliet Junior College; and

WHEREAS, She worked at Fox Valley Veterinary Hospital in Ottawa; she was a member of St. Columba Church, 4H, Future Farmers of America, and had been active in high school sports and was a cheerleader; and

WHEREAS, Ashton Frieders was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary and Ed Frieders and Norman Scents; and

WHEREAS, Ashton R. Frieders is survived by her parents; her grandmother, Wanda Fedro; her sister, Christon Frieders; her brother, Coleton Frieders; her aunts and uncles, Mary Lou (Lane) Sheldon, Stephanie Scents, Bob (Jessica), Larry (Jayne), Bernie (Kim), Joe, Gene (Julie), Tom Frieders and Buck (Diane) Scents; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Ashton R. Frieders; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ashton R. Frieders as a symbol of our sympathy.
