| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Richard L. Jasker of Hinsdale, who passed |
| 4 |
| away on April 9, 2007; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Richard Jasker was born January 30, 1931 in Oak |
| 6 |
| Park; he served in the United States Army during the Korean |
| 7 |
| War; he was a retired Willowbrook police sergeant and a former |
| 8 |
| Melrose Park police officer; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Richard Jasker was a co-owner of Arlee Advertising |
| 10 |
| in Willowbrook; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, He was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Hinsdale, |
| 12 |
| the Hinsdale Chamber of Commerce, the American Legion Post 250, |
| 13 |
| the Hinsdale VFW Post 2838, the Committee of 100 in Hinsdale, |
| 14 |
| and he was a Hinsdale committeeman for the DuPage County |
| 15 |
| Republicans; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, Richard Jasker was a recipient of the Citizen of |
| 17 |
| the Year award from the village of Willowbrook; and he enjoyed |
| 18 |
| skiing, golfing, and volunteering; and
|
| 19 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Richard Jasker will be deeply felt |
| 20 |
| by all those who knew and loved him, especially by his wife, |
