| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply |
| 3 |
| saddened to learn of the passing of
Thomas Peter Caffee of |
| 4 |
| Aurora, who passed away on April 21, 2007; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Thomas Caffee was a U.S. Mariner for 20 years; his |
| 6 |
| work took him all over the high seas but after retirement he |
| 7 |
| chose to return to Aurora; and |
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Thomas Caffee was well known in the Fox Valley |
| 9 |
| area after many years with the Protestant Church League, the |
| 10 |
| Wesley United Methodist basketball and softball teams, and as |
| 11 |
| an IHSA official for local high schools; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Thomas Caffee was preceded in death by his infant |
| 13 |
| daughter and his granddaughter, Becky Hollenbeck; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Thomas Peter Caffee will be deeply |
| 15 |
| felt by those who knew and loved him, especially by his wife, |
| 16 |
| Fran; his daughters, Beth (David) Kohler and MaryFran (Greg) |
| 17 |
| Twait; and his grandchildren, Megan Kohler, Annie Kohler, Max |
| 18 |
| Kohler, and Jenny (Hollenbeck) Stanley; therefore, be it
