SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express 
3
their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Charles 
4
Lindberg Tefertiller of Royalton, who passed away on January 4, 
5
2007; and

 
6
    WHEREAS, Charles Tefertiller was born July 12, 1927 in 
7
Royalton; his parents were Jesse and Maisie (Randolph) 
8
Tefertiller; and

 
9
    WHEREAS, He married Margaret J. Prosko on June 19, 1963 in 
10
New Mexico; she preceded him in death February 4, 1998; and

 
11
    WHEREAS,

Mr. Tefertiller served in the United States Air 
12
Force from 1951 to 1974; he worked at Turco Industries in 
13
DuQuoin after his military retirement; and

 
14
    WHEREAS, He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, 
15
Rodney and Bonnie Tefertiller; his sisters, Lois Dial, Betty 
16
Orlandini, and Phyllis Markey; and several nieces and nephews; 
17
and

 
18
    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, 
19
Vida Pohl; and his brothers, Edward and Rudy Tefertiller; 
20
therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 
2
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
3
his family and friends, the passing of Charles Tefertiller; and 
4
be it further

 
5
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6
presented to the family of Charles Tefertiller as an expression 
7
of our sympathy.
