| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2362, on page 2, by |

| replacing lines 17 through 20 with the following: |

| "by a municipality. To receive credit for military"; and

| on page 2, lines 22 through 24, by replacing "writing within 6 |
| 6 |
| months after the effective date of the amendatory Act of the |
| 7 |
| 95th General Assembly" with "writing to the fund within 6 |
| 8 |
| months after the municipality elects to allow the service".
