    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2303, AS AMENDED,

with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment No.

2, on page 2, line 7, by replacing "The" with "Except as 
5
otherwise provided herein, the"; and

on page 2, line 9, by changing "that" to "the"; and
 
7
on page 2, line 10, before the period, by inserting the 
8
following: "when a person is being held by a county, another 
9
arresting agency, the Department of Juvenile Justice, or the 
10
Department of Corrections"; and
 
11
on page 2, by replacing lines 13 and 14 with the following:

"Department shall seek federal financial participation, 
13
including a request for a waiver of federal law and regulations 
14
as necessary. If the request for a waiver is approved, the 
15
Department shall cooperate with the"; and
