| AN ACT concerning business.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Agricultural Co-Operative Act is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 1 as follows:
|
| 6 |

| Sec. 1. In order to promote, foster and
and encourage the |
| 8 |
| intelligent and
orderly marketing of agricultural products |
| 9 |
| through co-operation; to
eliminate speculation and waste; to |
| 10 |
| make the distribution of agricultural
products between |
| 11 |
| producer and consumer as direct as can be efficiently
done; to |
| 12 |
| stabilize the marketing of agricultural products, and to |
| 13 |
| provide
for the organization and incorporation of agricultural |
| 14 |
| co-operative
associations and societies, this Act is passed. |
