| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 356f as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (215 ILCS 5/356f) (from Ch. 73, par. 968f)
|
| 7 |
| Sec. 356f. No policy of accident or health insurance or any |
| 8 |
| renewal thereof
shall be denied or cancelled by the
the

| 9 |
| insurer, nor shall any such policy contain
any exception or |
| 10 |
| exclusion of benefits, solely because the mother of the
insured |
| 11 |
| has taken diethylstilbestrol, commonly referred to as DES. |
