| AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 595

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 595 by replacing |

| everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| "Section 5. The Illinois Act on the Aging is amended by |
| 5 |
| adding Section 4.08 as follows:

| (20 ILCS 105/4.08 new) |
| 7 |
| Sec. 4.08. Medication management program. Subject to |
| 8 |
| appropriation, the Department shall establish a program to |
| 9 |
| assist persons 60 years of age or older in managing their |
| 10 |
| medications. The Department shall establish guidelines and |
| 11 |
| standards for the program by rule.

| 12 |
| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 13 |
| becoming law.".
