HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate Lilly Rule on her 
4
retirement from the McHenry County Department of Health; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Lilly Rule started her employment with the McHenry 
6
County Department of Health on December 1, 1968; she has served 
7
the residents of McHenry County with dedication and an 
8
unwavering commitment to the highest public health standards 
9
for the last 40 years; and

 
10
    WHEREAS, Her length of employment with the Health 
11
Department has not been surpassed by any other employee; she 
12
will officially retire from the Health Department on December 
13
1, 2008; and

 
14
    WHEREAS, Her contributions as an employee have been 
15
integral to the success and growth of the Department, making 
16
McHenry County a healthier and more desirable place to live; 
17
and

    WHEREAS, Her length and dedication to public service is an 
19
example to others and a model of dedication for others to 
20
follow; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2
NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
3
congratulate Lilly Rule on her retirement and wish her 
4
continued success in all future endeavors; and be it further

 
5
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6
presented to Lilly Rule as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
