| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to honor Earl Brown, Director of |
| 4 |
| the Alton Housing Authority, on his retirement; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Brown announced that he would retire on March |
| 6 |
| 28, 2008 after serving for 20 years with the Authority; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Brown began working for the Authority in 1989 |
| 8 |
| and became interim director in June of 2002; he was named |
| 9 |
| director in July of 2002; therefore, be it
|
| 10 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 11 |
| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 12 |
| congratulate Earl Brown on his retirement, thank him for his |
| 13 |
| years of service to the people of Alton and the surrounding |
| 14 |
| area, and wish him the best in his future endeavors; and be it |
| 15 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 17 |
| presented to Earl Brown as a symbol of our respect.
