| WHEREAS, The institution of marriage is one of the |

| cornerstones upon
which our society is built; and

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |

| Representatives are pleased to congratulate Marie Catherine |
| 6 |
| Peckler and Brian Edward Murphy on the occasion of their |
| 7 |
| wedding, April 19, 2008; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS,
Marie and Brian will be married at St. Thomas |
| 9 |
| Moore Church in Chicago by Reverend Anthony Brankin; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, The parents of the bride are Ruth Peckler and the |
| 11 |
| late Raymond Peckler; the parents of the groom are Francis and |
| 12 |
| Margaret Murphy; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, Marie and Brian stand as examples of the best of |

| our
society, and their love and devotion to each other serves |

| as a reminder to all that love and devotion to one another can
