HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the 
4
Troy Middle School 7th Grade Basketball Team for their 
5
victories in the 74a Regional 7 Championship and 74a Sectional 
6
4 Championship, and their admirable 4th place finish at the 
7
State tournament; and

 
8
    WHEREAS, The Troy Middle School 7th Grade Basketball Team 
9
placed 4th at the State tournament after spectacular victories 
10
at the 74a Regional 7 Championship and 74a Sectional 4 
11
Championship; the team also won all 6 games of their 
12
conference; the team finished the season with a 19-9 record; 
13
and

    WHEREAS, Troy Middle School 7th Grade Basketball Team Coach 
15
Adam Degroot was named the District 9 Junior High Coach of the 
16
Year in recognition of his superb leadership; and

 
17
    WHEREAS, The members of the Troy Middle School 7th Grade 
18
Basketball Team are Ben Figura, Grant Barker, Chris Tschida, 
19
Ryan Peter, Mark Fox, Ty Isaac, Ayhan Ozgen, Luke Stefanski, 
20
Brandon McCullum, Dane Colvin, Jonah Jones, Ryan Kelly, Ashton 
21
McCullough, and Mike Howard; the team's assistant coach is Bill 
22
Hamilton; and

    WHEREAS, The coaches and players of the Troy Middle School

7th Grade Basketball Team are models of dedication and good

sportsmanship for the people of the State of Illinois;

therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
6
NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
7
congratulate the members of the Troy Middle School 7th Grade 
8
Basketball Team for their admirable season and wish them 
9
continued success and happiness in the future; and be it

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

presented to Troy Middle School 7th Grade Basketball Coach  Adam
