820 ILCS 55/12 rep.










    Amends the Right to Privacy in the Workplace Act. Repeals provisions added by Public Act 95-138 that prohibited employers from enrolling in any Employment Eligibility Verification System, including the Basic Pilot program, unless specified conditions were met. Effective immediately.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Right to Privacy in the Workplace Act is

amended  by repealing Section 12.

    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
8
becoming law.
