| 4 | "(d) Subsection (a) of this Section does not apply to sworn | ||||||
| 5 | law enforcement officers utilizing a facsimile smoke detector, | ||||||
| 6 | sprinkler head, carbon monoxide alarm, heat detector, or any | ||||||
| 7 | other similar device in furtherance of a criminal | ||||||
| 8 | investigation.".
