| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1360 by replacing |

| everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| "Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by |

| adding Section 155.42 as follows:

| (215 ILCS 5/155.42 new) |
| 7 |
| Sec. 155.42. ZIP code discrimination prohibited. An |
| 8 |
| insurer authorized to do business in this State may not use a |
| 9 |
| person's ZIP code in underwriting or rating property insurance, |
| 10 |
| including the determination of the premium rates.".
