| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of George Victor Bucher Sr., |
| 4 |
| of Evansville, Indiana, formerly of Mounds, on Sunday February, |
| 5 |
| 5, 2006; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Bucher was born September 30, 1925 in Mounds, |
| 7 |
| the son of the late Louie Bucher and Lena (Biessingert) Bucher; |
| 8 |
| and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Bucher was a Catholic, an Army Veteran of |
| 10 |
| World War II, and a retired employee from World Pool Company in |
| 11 |
| Evansville, after 20 years; he was preceded in death by his |
| 12 |
| parents; his first wife, Elsie (Smoot) Bucher; and by his |
| 13 |
| brothers, William and Paul Bucher; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of George Bucher is felt by all who |
| 15 |
| knew and loved him, especially his wife, Mae (Winters) Bucher; |
| 16 |
| his daughter, Karen McCamish; his son, George V. Bucher Jr.; |
| 17 |
| his stepdaughters, Marlyn Miller, and Brenda Aponta; his |
| 18 |
| sister, Mary Lou Adams; his brother, Tom Bucher; his |
| 19 |
| grandchildren, Ondrea Timme, Jason, and Chris; his |
| 20 |
| great-granddaughter, Ashley Underwood; and several nieces and |
| 21 |
| nephews; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 23 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 24 |
| George Victor Bucher Sr. and extend our sincerest condolences |
| 25 |
| to his family, friends, and community; and be it further
|
| 26 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 27 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
| 28 |
| sympathy.
