| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Glada Cagle of Creal |
| 4 |
| Springs on July 16, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Cagle was born on December 9, 1938, in |
| 6 |
| Urbana, to Herbert and Imogene (Hammond) Mathews; she married |
| 7 |
| Thomas (Frank) Cagle on July 25, 1986, at Creal Springs |
| 8 |
| Northern Baptist Church; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, She loved to play bingo and garden; she was a |
| 10 |
| member of the Creal Springs VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Marion Eagles |
| 11 |
| Auxiliary, and the Carrier Mills American Legion Ladies |
| 12 |
| Auxiliary; her laugh was infectious and she will be missed by |
| 13 |
| all; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents and her |
| 15 |
| son, Ricky Thome; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Glada Cagle is felt by all who knew |
| 17 |
| and loved her, especially her husband; her daughter, Barbara |
| 18 |
| and Rodney Pritchett; her son, Jim Thome; her grandchildren, |
| 19 |
| Stacy and Nate Eaton, Josh and Aaron Pritchett, and Sara Thome; |
| 20 |
| her great-grandchild, Conner Eaton; and her brothers, Earl and |
| 21 |
| Virginia Lane, Bill and Barbara Lane, and Larry and Mary |
| 22 |
| Hampel; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 24 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we express our most |
| 25 |
| sincere regret at the passing of Glada Cagle and extend our |
| 26 |
| condolences to her family, friends, and community; and be it |
| 27 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
