| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Charles C. Morris of |
| 4 |
| Herrin on July 19, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Morris was born September 7, 1935, to Charles |
| 6 |
| and Bessie (Moore) Morris; he had worked as a concrete brick |
| 7 |
| mason at Charles Wilson Masonry; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his brother, John |
| 9 |
| Morris, and his sisters, Annie and Ruthie Morris; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Charles Morris is felt by all who |
| 11 |
| knew and loved him, especially his son and daughter-in-law, |
| 12 |
| Charlie and Cheryl Morris; his stepdaughters, Lou Ann Harmon |
| 13 |
| and Lana Bailey; his stepsons, Bobby Ridings and Marvin |
| 14 |
| Ridings; his grandchildren, Jacob and Kaleb Triplett and their |
| 15 |
| mother, Rhonda Triplett, and Kaleigh, Zachary, Jaycee, and |
| 16 |
| Jeremy Morris; his step-grandchildren, Crystal and TJ Tubbs; |
| 17 |
| his special friend, Bill Bailey; his special niece, Carol |
| 18 |
| Terresa Morris; and his brothers, Tom Morris and Russell |
| 19 |
| Morris; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we express our most |
| 22 |
| sincere regret at the passing of Charles Morris and extend our |
| 23 |
| condolences to his family and friends; and be it further
|
| 24 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 25 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
| 26 |
| sympathy.
