| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |

| learned with sadness of the death of David Lee Baker of Herrin |
| 4 |
| on July 11, 2005; and

| WHEREAS, Mr. Baker was born March 8, 1977, in Herrin; he |
| 6 |
| worked in construction; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his paternal |
| 8 |
| grandfather, Robert Baker; his maternal grandmother, Doris |
| 9 |
| Price; his maternal grandfather, Delmar Price; his aunt, Judy |
| 10 |
| Colson; his cousin, Jeff Price; and his sister, Holly Baker; |
| 11 |
| and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of David Lee Baker is felt by all who |
| 13 |
| knew and loved him, especially his wife, Kelly Odum Baker; his |
| 14 |
| sons, David Bradley and Hayden Alexander Baker; his daughter, |

| Lynn Star Baker; his mother and stepfather, Rhonda and Ronnie |

| Fitzpatrick; his father, David D. Baker; his paternal |

| grandmother, Wanda Baker; his sisters, Candida Payne, Becky |

| Needham, and Sarah Baker; his nephew, Dakota Montgomery; his |

| brothers-in-law, Tony Payne, Joey Odum, and Mike Casey; his |

| sister-in-law, Donie Walker; his father-in-law and |
