| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Terry Sardin, Sr., of |
| 4 |
| Chicago on July 3, 2004; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born June 3, 1957 in Chicago to the union |
| 6 |
| of Joseph and Millicent Sardin; he attended True Holiness |
| 7 |
| Pentecostal Church; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Terry Sardin, Sr., is felt by all |
| 10 |
| who knew him, especially his loving and devoted wife, Lisa; his |
| 11 |
| children, Crystal (Michael) Johnson, Terra, Marlow, Nikkia, |
| 12 |
| Shanice, and Terry, Jr.; his grandchildren; his siblings, |
| 13 |
| Joseph, Tommie (Janet), Rodney (Angela), Earl (DeAdra), and |
| 14 |
| Linda; his step-siblings, Andrea (Vernell), Andra (Pamela), |
| 15 |
| Everette, Crystal, and Charlie; his special stepsons, Randy and |
| 16 |
| Jr.; Walter Guy, Sr. (Nettie), his mother-in-law, Christine |
| 17 |
| Guy; his sisters-in-law; his brothers-in-law; and a
host of |

| aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends; |

| therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 22 |
| Terry Sardin, Sr., and we extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 23 |
| family, friends, and community; and be it further
|
| 24 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 25 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
| 26 |
| sympathy.
