| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, Kaskaskia College in Centralia is being honored as |
| 3 |
| one of the recipients of the Lincoln Bronze Award for |
| 4 |
| Commitment to Excellence; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The Lincoln Bronze Award for Commitment to |
| 6 |
| Excellence is given by the Lincoln Foundation to Performance |
| 7 |
| Excellence; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, The Lincoln Foundation for Performance Excellence |
| 9 |
| was founded in 1994 and is a publicly and privately-supported |
| 10 |
| not-for-profit organization; it was created to significantly |
| 11 |
| raise Illinois worldwide competitiveness by improving the |
| 12 |
| performance of its institutions and businesses; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, The 2005 Lincoln Bronze Award for Commitment to |
| 14 |
| Excellence is awarded to recognize an organization's earnest |
| 15 |
| efforts to adopt and apply continuous improvement principles; |
| 16 |
| and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, Award recipients will be officially recognized at |
| 18 |
| reception in Springfield on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, and on |
| 19 |
| Thursday, March 23, 2006, at the State Capitol; therefore, be |
| 20 |

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 23 |
| we congratulate Kaskaskia College on being honored with the |
| 24 |
| Lincoln Bronze Award for Commitment to Excellence; and be it |

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |

| presented to Kaskaskia College as an expression of our esteem.
