| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
|
| 3 |
| Representatives wish to congratulate the 1930, 1955, and 1980 |
| 4 |
| graduating classes of Weber High School in Chicago; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Founded in 1890, St. Stanislaus College became |
| 6 |
| known as Archbishop Weber High School in 1930; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, During its years of operation, Weber High School |
| 8 |
| garnered a reputation for excellence in education and received |
| 9 |
| many honors; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Though Weber High School closed its doors in June |
| 11 |
| of 1999, the spirit of its values lives on in each student who |
| 12 |
| attended the school; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, This year, the 1930 graduating class of Weber High |
| 14 |
| School is celebrating its seventy-fifth class reunion, the 1955 |
| 15 |
| graduating class is celebrating its fiftieth class reunion, and |
| 16 |
| the 1980 graduating class is celebrating its twenty-fifth class |
| 17 |
| reunion; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 19 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 20 |
| we congratulate the 1930, 1955, and 1980 graduating classes of |
| 21 |
| Weber High School on the occasion of their respective |
| 22 |
| seventy-fifth, fiftieth, and twenty-fifth class reunions; and |
| 23 |
| be it further
|
| 24 |
| RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be |
| 25 |
| presented to representatives of each of the 1930, 1955, and |
| 26 |
| 1980 graduating classes of Weber High School.
