| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
| 3 |
| State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Edward |
| 4 |
| Sabotnik on January 13, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born on November 2, 1938, in Blue Island to |
| 6 |
| Easter Swanson and Rex Sabotnik; he attended Blue Island |
| 7 |
| Community High School; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Sabotnik valiantly served his country as a |
| 9 |
| member of the U.S. Air Force for 29 years; he was the co-owner |
| 10 |
| of Charlotte's Catering; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Edward Sabotnik has been deeply |
| 12 |
| felt by many, especially his wife of nearly 42 years, |
| 13 |
| Charlotte; his daughters, Debra (Lincoln) Day, Christy |
| 14 |
| Sabotnik, Sherri (Kent) Marley, and Toni Jo Sabotnik; his ten |
| 15 |
| grandchildren; his siblings, John Sabotnik, Robert Swanson, |
| 16 |
| Terry Sabotnik, and Pete Sabotnik; and his beloved and loyal |
| 17 |
| Chihuahua, Ricky Ricardo; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 19 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 20 |
| we mourn the passing of Edward Sabotnik, and we extend our |
| 21 |
| deepest sympathy to his family, friends, and all who knew and |
| 22 |
| loved him; and be it further
|
| 23 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 24 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our sincerest |
| 25 |
| condolences.
