| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives are |
| 3 |
| pleased to honor the City of Northlake Police Department on |
| 4 |
| earning accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for |
| 5 |
| Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA); and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, This State is deeply indebted to the brave men and |
| 7 |
| women who put their lives on the line each day to protect their |
| 8 |
| fellow citizens; the hard work and dedication of law |
| 9 |
| enforcement officers help the citizens of Illinois to live in |
| 10 |
| safety; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, By receiving accreditation from CALEA, the City of |
| 12 |
| Northlake Police Department has been designated as an agency |
| 13 |
| dedicated to excellence; it shows a continued commitment to |
| 14 |
| maintaining the highest standards and best practices in law |
| 15 |
| enforcement; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, Formal presentation of the Northlake Police |
| 17 |
| Department for recognition to the full Commission will occur at |
| 18 |
| an awards banquet on Saturday, March 19, 2005; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 20 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 21 |
| we congratulate the City of Northlake Police Department on |
| 22 |
| earning accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for |
| 23 |
| Law Enforcement Agencies; and be it further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 25 |
| presented to the City of Northlake Police Department as an |
| 26 |
| expression of our respect and esteem.
